Quick note and reminder that sometimes forwarded emails do not go through to their system. I've flagged the issue w MHC. If something urgent - create a new email - or call.

I routinely forward my reservation emails to my WoH Concierge for applying SUA and for handling of other matters, and never had any problems. YMMV

to be more specific - I've had issues with the emails for hotel cancelation/re-accomodation team usually just subject lined "Hyatt Hotels" - example hotel has a sudden closure and you're told tough luck finding another place by the property

I've had the worst of luck with my concierge, one week and no response on a simple request. CC'ed mhc @ hyatt a few days later and still no response. Another email sent to apply a SUA and again no response, luckily I called in before the last suite was gone from inventory. Most of the time I just call but sometimes I just don't have the 20 min to do so.

Does anyone use twitter/x for request? emailing to switch my current MHC today, let's see what happens.

I just use the chat. No issues.

I use Facebook chat for most things (generally that's SUA application). I've used my concierge a handful of times and she's always gotten the job done just a bit slow (usually 5-7 days turnaround).

I am new to Globalist experience and have some questions.
I would like to know if a Globalist Concierge can do something like finding a room/suite which is not shown/available on a hotel's website and book it with points/free-night cert/upgrade cert?

Thank you.

Welcome to the Globalist tier and congratulations 👍
Generally speaking all the agents Conceirge team can do is see if suite availability is in their system for allowable standard suites
Free night certificates unfortunately are not confirmable in suites in advance though may be upgraded to on arrival
They of course can request unavailable inventory in advance but it’s always a crap shoot if not confirmed in advance

is the 5-7 day turnaround the norm?
Fo me, it’s been getting worse, now around 2-7 days.
i got frustrated and was thinking about trying to change the concierge. But maybe that won’t do any good

MHC agents often have 1000+ Globalists assigned to them. Response time may vary via email. Calling in is the best option for urgent issues.

Sometimes I get no response from the concierge via email, and another rep responds for her in a few days if I send a second email....

+1 on if you need something done quickly, just call the Globalist number...don't wait on the email....

even if that’s true, all 1000 of them are not sending emails daily. I don’t really understand how Hyatt twitter often responds within a few hours, but a globalist concierge email takes a few days? I agree with calling for urgent things, regardless

I'm genuinely convinced there are concierge tier A agents and tier B agents. I believe high dollar globs, usually opm globs who generate several tens of thousands a year in spend get tier A agents that have a smaller load and are more responsive and the regular globs, lower value, etc get tier B agents that usually take days to answer because they get a ton of people assigned to them. The phone is the best and really only useful part of being glob for most people in my opinion.

Mine always answers to email in a few hours (or someone from her team if she’s off) unless you contact them after 6pm in which cas there are closed until 9am.
And it happened quite a few times (but not always) that by calling directly the hotel she managed to get me a standard suite which was not listed as available on the website or even better an upgrade to a premium suite (using a SUA).

Is it better to call the 888 concierge number than the Globalist line? Does it not matter?
Is the 1-888 Concierge number answered by a concierge, or is it just a phone agent like on the Globalist line?
