There is a Hyatt sub-forum for everything related to SLH, benefits, reviews, etc...

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/small-luxury-hotels-slh-772/

would be nice if the forum would get a boost Cheers 59Impala

Paid stays are 10%+ cheaper if booked as an SLH member on its website. It, also, includes continental breakfast. (note from @59impala. I paid a 30% premium for The Plymouth Southbeach.) (antonius66 I observed 10-30% premiums for 2 hotels in Portugal over SLH direct, closer to 50% over OTAs)
A limited number of reviews of SLH properties may be found in the Other Hotel Chains Forum.
World of Hyatt members can earn 5 Base Points for every $1 USD spent on qualifying room rates and can redeem points for free nights at participating SLH hotels. It doesn't stop there, members can also enjoy exclusive in-hotel benefits when staying at a participating SLH hotel.
Complimentary continental breakfast for two
Complimentary Wi-Fi
Early check-in 12:00pm (based on availability at check-in)
Late check-out 2:00pm (based on availability at check-in)
One category room upgrade (based on availability at check-in)

You're thinking of the Courtyard, but there's a brand new Courtyard Downtown that opened this month. I just checked in, and so far it's fantastic. It's right near where the Westin used to be, in a brand new glass tower with good views. Everything is clean and modern. Service just at check-in was far better than at previous stays at the W and Aloft. Hopefully this trend continues.

FYI, I updated my map with new participating SLH hotels in Europe. Now counting 83.

Also added two new SLH hotels, but they are not in the Hyatt program yet. I wonder whether new SLH hotels will automatically be asked to join the program.

I think this is really up to the Mods here, but I would not like to see new threads started for each of the 83 and counting SLH properties. I like the idea of keeping this thread for announcements about the partnership and related information, like lightwalker's map, and starting a new thread for comments, questions, and reviews on all SLH properties. If the volume of reviews gets too great in the future, maybe then consider a new forum or sub-forum ...

I personally like review threads, that way when I search Google for "hotel X flyertalk" it takes me right to the review thread, since the flyertalk search function is utter garbage.

If Marriott, IHG, etc. can handle 5,000+ hotels with their respective threads as needed, why can't the Hyatt forum handle an extra 100 or so?

I would personally find it FAR more useful to see individual hotel threads pop up. Not only do I mostly care about the treatment of Hyatt members at individual SLH properties, but my mental map of "where the Hyatts are" is going to need some serious updating with all of these new hotels coming online. Unless somebody is offering to do a proper wiki here, that just isn't looking like happening within a single master thread for SLH.

Yes, separate threads for each hotel, please.

+1 This makes finding property specific details and reviews easier to find and to post updates to.

Also, I'm happy about the new convention on the Marriott forum for having a standard name for "Marriott Bonvoy hotels in NameOfCity [Master Thread]" — makes it easy to pick when I'm visiting somewhere new.

So I will start a new thread after my stay. This is in line with the PM I got from the moderators.

I like this ! In contrast to others, I don't think the other forums handle 1000s of properties well. Information is often spread across numerous threads when trying to research or compare properties.

I prefer our Hyatt forum with individual property threads and hope it stays this way.

The problem with this approach is that often times we end up having both a city thread and individual property threads in that city. Information ends up in two different spots which is not ideal.
