This latest expansion has quadrupled the number of participating SLH properties since the alliance launched in November 2018, and its expansion is expected to continue throughout 2019.

World of Hyatt members now have access to more than 200 of SLH’s luxury boutique hotels that offer new locations across growth markets for Hyatt, including Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Kenya, Mozambique, New Zealand, Portugal, St. Vincent and The Grenadines and Turks and Caicos and more.

I happened to have booked The Alhambra in Losinj (Croatia) just yesterday. It was newly added to the Hyatt website today. I was curious as to what the rate would be if I booked on Hyatt.

Cikat Suite:

• Hyatt website - 676 euros

Needless to say, I won't be booking on the Hyatt site.

My benchmark is points for Park Hyatt Vienna, Park Hyatt Sydney, Andaz Tokyo (before category change) - so good quality properties with a high retail cost while points provide a good CPM.

Yeah SLH hotels are only for using points. The cash rates to get Hyatt credit are absurd. Even points are often grossly out of whack.

I don't mind paying 10% more, but this kind of 40%+ differential is disappointing. Are these both flexible? Or SLH was pre-paid whereas Hyatt is flexible?
