I asked bco about that a few weeks ago, you can do that through Prive, but the third night free promotion does not apply.

The All Inclusive package can be added to the Privé third night free rate, however you can’t book the all inclusive rate and get the third night free. Hopefully that makes sense.

Guys can the Prive offer be stacked upon itself to generate more than one free night eg. Book 4, stay 6 etc ?

Or is this dependant on the property ?

It depends on the property. Some are allowing the third night free to be repeatable.

The Prive offers are generally equal to the "Best Available Rate" and during these times probably include at least one complimentary night, plus the value add perks.

Rebooking for lower rate

It appears that I could save about $45 by rebooking my stay for next week. I would be happy to save $45, but it is not going to change my life (enough for about 3 cocktails at the bar, if I am lucky). Is it reasonable to contact the travel agent to rebook it, or is it better to let it go? I would hate to think that someone might get vindictive about my thriftiness and sabotage my booking (poor upgrade/room assignment/etc). If it were a normal booking, I would probably just go ahead and cancel/rebook, but as a Prive booking with a confirmed upgrade, it seems like it may be more hassle risk than it is worth.

I can't speak for other agents, but we never have an issue with updating rates if they drop. The one caveat is that when we do that, the confirmed room upgrade falls off and has to be reconfirmed. And there is always a risk, it might not be available. But so far, those issues have been few and far between.

I have successfully contacted Hyatt on Facebook messenger and had them price adjust... and they have the ability to do it and keep the reservation — I.e. keep a suite upgrade attached. I did this a couple weeks ago.

Suite upgrades will stay attached, if the agent knows it is there. But confirmed one category Prive upgrades done by the hotel will not. They have to be reconfirmed after the rate change.

Got it. I haven’t tried after a confirmed upgrade, but I think the point is that in most cases Hyatt can handle the price change without needing to bother an agent. But obviously, most agents wouldn’t mind doing it.

Well that's what I'm saying though, is they really can't. Because they don't have the ability to confirm the upgrade is still in place, which you're going to have to go through your agent for anyway.

I made the booking with your agency, so I guess that would be a vote of confidence.

Thank you
