Coke or Pepsi? A question about Hyatt offerings

I absolutely detest that Hyatt seems to have an agreement with Pepsi as that is what all the clubs seem to stock.
How many people wish Hyatt's stocked Coke instead of Pepsi?

Like there's a significant difference between the 2 products.

I don't mind that people drink it, but to get worked up about which brand a hotel has? Sounds like something a 10 year old might care about I suppose, but grown adults?

Well for one, they taste very different. Two, when I have club access, periodically I would like a soda and personally I hate Pepsi, and find it odd that they seem to have an agreement with Pepsi, given that Pepsi is much less common than Coke. Legitimate question and I have always wondered if frequent Hyatt guests just prefer it and I am in a minority or something, since the general marketplace dominance in food service is most definitely coca cola.

Finally, I could say things like "I can't believe anyone still drinks cheap club wine/beer/booze" or "only a drunk would worry about what cheap liquor they have" or "is there enough food to scrounge a full meal in X hotel club? Sounds like something a bum would worry about" etc etc. Keep your smarmy and useless commentaries to yourself.

nah, not really
if you do have a strong preference for one vs the other then yes - you are in a very small minority of cola connoisseurs

The fridges at the Andaz Toyko (both in the lobby and in the rooms) are stocked with cans Coke and Coke Zero Sugar.

Same with GH Seoul, Tokyo and PH Busan, Seoul and Tokyo. Each country probably has their own contract with Coke or Pepsi.

I'd say if you don't have a strong preference, you're in a tiny minority. Every cola drinker I know has a very strong preference for one versus the other. Personally, I never liked either one, but I remember liking RC Cola in the days I used to drink that stuff.

While I rarely drink either any longer (unless there is rum involved in the glass as well), I definitely prefer Coca Cola to Pepsi. There is a significant taste difference to me.

I prefer Coke over Pepsi too! In fact, I'd rather drink a 7-Up than a Pepsi.

I prefer Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke but if have to drink the full on sugar version it is Coke all the way. All these drinks taste different. Just like Sprite, 7-Up and Sierra Mist do and that there is a decided difference between Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Schwepps....don't even get me started on Root Beers....
I'm completely serious here. If people can't taste the difference in these products, their palates for other non-pop beverages may not be as good as they think (please note I say taste the difference, there is nothing to say they have to like these beverages).
