Finally received a reply from World of Hyatt today, stating I don't have enough points to transfer (obviously, as I already completed the stay). In total, 17 days from Dec 24 to Jan 10.

I mistakenly used an old Gold Passport form (still available on the Hyatt website) and was amazed how quickly (2 hours) Hyatt responded to say they cannot accept the form. The actual turnaround time when I resubmitted was 16 days. I have no idea why they take so long. It's embarrassing. But then again, so is much of the customer service from Hyatt as of about a year ago.

My combining points transfer finally went through this morning, almost 18 days after I emailed in the form. Probably delayed by the holidays. But I'd still recommend that anyone who wants to combine points allow lots of time.

Thanks for reporting back. Helps set expectations. I'm about 10 days in and nothing yet. I'll likely have points from my Hyatt card post before the points transfer happens, which will make the transfer moot, but oh well...

This is pretty ridiculous. C'mon Hyatt. Are they really going to blame their IT on this too!! Hard to hear how some are having theirs go through in days while others (like me!!!!!) are going on 3 weeks. Did one Hyatt agent start going through the stack of requests from the top down, then the next agent go from bottom up?
