Andaz Seoul REVIEW - MASTER THREAD

This Andaz is going to be in the Apgujeong area of Seoul and the owners are KT (a major Korean telecommunications conglomerate). It's probably going to be placed on par with the Park Hyatt rates wise.
I've heard concepts of a 5G video wall and massive interactive multimedia in the lobby.

A very large boutique hotel for my tastes.
According to the U.S.-based multinational hospitality company, Thursday, the Andaz Gangnam, Seoul will open next year in Apgujeong, a sub-unit of Gangnam; and the 241-room hotel will feature a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant, large conference venues, a pool, and a fitness center with tree spa treatment rooms.

HDC (Hyundai Development Company), which owns the Park Hyatt Seoul and Busan as well as the I-Park apartment/officetel brand, will also be working on the new hotel.

For those who don't know, Superpotato is the Japanese interior designer which drew up the lounges, restaurants, lobbies etc. for the Korean Park Hyatts (as well as for other Asian hotels and Hyatts). Contrary to my initial assumption, Aventine was NOT referring to the retro-videogame chain store in Japan. Unless there was an arcade room I didn't know about in my last stay.

Andaz Seoul announcement
Andaz Gangnam, Seoul will comprise of 241 guestrooms, a lobby lounge (the Atelier), an all-day dining restaurant (the Tavern), approximately 6,458 square feet of meeting space, a pool, and a fitness center with three spa treatment rooms.
I hope they put in a bigger pool than PHs Seoul and Busan. Do they need that much meeting space?
The mockup picture seems far too large. I didn't think they had such a big site in Apgujeung for 2 towers and a spacious driveway.

I'm thinking Cat. 5 on par with PH Seoul but even PH Seoul has been generously moved up to 5. I don't think it deserves to be there. I'm thinking they're going to charge as much as PH Seoul and hopefully not as much as FS.
