do hyatt points expire?

Do these points expire? Does hyatt ever enforce a 1 year expiration policy?

Points don't expire but they can (and do) shutter inactive accounts. Their FAQ suggests this.

No. It's 2 years, unless you have the credit card.

If a Member’s account is inactive for twenty-four (24) consecutive months, all points in that Member’s account will be forfeited at that time, but the Member’s account will remain open (with the ability to earn new points thereafter).

Why is there a discrepancy in Hyatt’s website?
is it 12 or 24 months?

4. Do my points expire?

No, however, if an account is left inactive for more than 12 calendar months, the account may be deleted and all points in the account forfeited.
