Resort Fee Waiver policy:

https://help.hyatt.com/en/hyatt-term...terms.html#/VC

(h) Waived Resort, Destination, or Facility Fees: Resort, destination, or facility fees, where charged by the applicable hotel or resort, will be waived for Globalists when paying an Eligible Rate. (As described in Appendix B, resort, destination, or facility fees are waived for all Members when staying on a Free Night Award.) This benefit is not valid at any Hyatt Residence Club resort. In some instances, a hotel or resort may charge other fees (such as a “service fee”) that are independent of any resort, destination, or facility fee charged by that hotel or resort. Any such fees will not be waived for Globalists pursuant to this benefit.
Definition of an Eligible Rate:

https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/e...are-tiers.html (hover over the hypertext in the first paragraph to display the text below)

An “eligible rate” is any hotel or resort room rate published by Hyatt (including rates found on hyatt.com without the application of a discount code, and Hyatt’s “Standard Rate,” “Volume Account Rates,” “Senior Citizen Rate,” and the monetary portion of any Points + Cash award). Eligible rates exclude free night awards, rooms booked on third-party online retailers, traditional wholesale rates (e.g., GOGO Worldwide Vacations, Pleasant Holidays, Tourico, and Hotelbeds), airline crew rates, airline employee rates, travel agency employee rates, Club at the Hyatt discount stays, Hyatt employee or employee family or friends-and-family discount rates, airline interrupted-trip vouchers, or contracted rooms. For complete details, please see the World of Hyatt program terms.
Hyatt Regency Mission Bay - Waived on eligible rates and redemptions.

MGM Resorts (M life) excluded from Resort Fee waiver:

https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/e...ife-terms.html

Resort fees, where charged by the applicable M life Rewards destination, apply to all Program awards redeemed at participating M life Rewards destinations.

No Program benefits offered to elite Members are valid or offered at M life Rewards destinations, except that, as detailed above, elite Members who choose to receive points for an M life-Eligible Night will also receive their respective Program point bonuses.

For Globalist, yes.

Due to Hyatt IT, it will still show up on your booking, but it should be taken off proactively upon checkout. If it isn't, I've never had any issues asking and having it removed.

Complimentary parking on free night awards at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts with parking that can be charged to a guest’s room

How do you know if it's a participating resort? First I've heard of this benefit. Staying at Huntington Beach Hyatt Regency - looking forward to resort fees and hopefully parking fees waived.

If the parking fees can be billed to the room, it's participating.

If it's an award, you don't pay Resort Fees anyway, no matter your WoH level.

How does Hyatt handle waiving resort fee on multiple rooms booked by a Globalist?

Planning to visit Andaz Maui with family this fall and am curious if resort fee would be waived on all the rooms as they're booked under my name and will be paid for by me at checkout.

never had a problem with multiple rooms resort fee waivers at HR Tahoe or Andaz Mayakoba.

if resort fees still on folios checkout morning, then i'd go down early checkout morning to see the folio on the 1st room and get resort fees removed.
then, checkout later in the day on the 1st room via app

checkout in person on the 2nd room as leaving the hotel, get 2nd room resort fees removed at that time.

I had resort fees waived for multiple rooms at another Hawaii property last month. I believe the T&Cs only require the fee waiver for the room the Glob is occupying, but I haven't heard of a case where the fees were charged for additional rooms.

no issues at The Confidante to have fees removed all at the same time for 3 rooms.

you get benefits for a max of 3 rooms. this includes points (not night credit), breakfast for 4 per room. water. fees removed. and so on.

Here's a question I haven't seen asked or answered (Point me to a link somewhere if I missed it!)

How do resort fees get waived for a globalist that books an eligible prepaid rate? Has anyone ran into this situation?
Especially since the new member rate advanced purchase rates can be better than the normal rates, it seems like people may start running into this more.

With the advance rate they usually just run the card for the base room without fees and taxes.

I had this 8 months ago in the Bahamas. 6 night stay, prepaid. They charged the whole amount, Room/Tax/Resort Fees as a Globalist.

Upon check out, the Resort fees were deducted, we wound up having a balance (pool F&B charges, room service, etc) - the Resort fees.

Same experience here - the paid resort fees were just credited to the portfolio.

anyone on this thread with recent resort fee waiver experience at the Ocean Resort Casino Atlantic City? sounds like people have to fight for it and I am also wondering about the parking. is it free for globs?

in other threads, its been discussed that there was a prior opportunity for matching to Ocean Black casino status when they first opened last summer 2018. this gave waived resort fees and free parking.
