Booked my Aunt and Uncle at the PH Chicago on points w/ GoH. FD Mgr confirmed they get free parking since it is an award stay with my status. Hotel only offers valet at $72/night, so huge savings there!

Valet Parked at the Orlando Regency Grand Cypress on two different reward trips since the change. Both times charges appeared on the bill prior to checkout but were promptly removed with a visit to the front desk. The visit should not be needed, but they did take it off. Will be back there in three weeks, any bets on if it appears or not?

Got confirmation from Assistant Mgr at GH Kauai that Globalists get complimentary Valet parking on award stays since self parking is included for all guests. We'll see if it rings true in a week. I've got it in writing now though, so should be good to go.

Got another email from a Front Office Mgr at the HR Waikiki. They have confirmed that as a Globalist on an Award stay both Self and Valet parking are complimentary. Will see how smoothly it works in about 2.5 weeks.

Prior to self-parking, hotel guests should leave luggage at reception. Self-parking payment can be charged to the hotel account.
