When using this benefit, is it typical to be able to keep the car parked for a few hours past checkout time at no additional cost? I have a stay in midtown Manhattan coming up and will need to leave the car parked until 6pm.

A slightly complicated one…I used Pay My Way to circumvent the award booking restrictions at the Andaz Maui, per the suggestions here:

So I am left with a stay that has only award nights in it, but perhaps does not look exactly like an award stay in the system. Any idea if I should still expect to get Globalist free parking?

HR Mission Bay points booking - Complimentary self-parking and valet
HR Jersey City partial cash/partial FNC booking - I didn't actually have a car but at check in they asked if I did because parking would be free for half of my stay (I think it is valet only)
I can't say for certain but I would assume the front desk will assist with this. They can certainly see how you paid and recognize that this you used award nights.

If a Hotel says heh parking in the hotel is not owned by the hotel and can be charged to your room and paid at checkout, does that mean a Globalist wont hav eto pay or will they have to pay since its owned by a party other then the hotel?

If it can be charged to the room then it’s complimentary for Globs on full award stays.

Thx for the fast reply, the hotel isnt on the list in the Wiki, thats why I asked., I prefer staying there over 1 that is in the Wiki, its not till next month, will report back if I run into any problems

DP: Complimentary Valet Parking on Award and Points+Cash Stay
Just a DP from my stay at Centric Waikiki, Complimentary Valet Parking was included for me on my 5 night points+cash and award stay. This was 5-night stay where I wasn't charged any fees at all for valet. ($50 Valet vs $42 Self).
