Does anyone see anything in the new rules to say that Globalists are guaranteed lounge access when they're not upgraded to a club level room? This seems to be missing in everything I've seen.

I'm also concerned about potentially losing my Private Line Agent before I can hit 60 nights.

Yet another question is whether those who REqualify for Globalist with 55 nights also get the DSUs, My Hyatt concierge, etc. Or will these benefits only be given to those who hit 60 nights each year, as a literal reading of the rules seems to say?

I don't think so. It's not on the list when I search for Hyatts in the state of Wisconsin.

It's right in the "terms and conditions" for Globalists on the Gold Passport website. Yes, Globalists will receive lounge access (or breakfast) regardless of upgrade.

Why are upgrades not given (up to standard suites) at all at HP and HH properties? Some of them do have suites. Moreover, HPs are increasingly identifying higher floor rooms as separate categories, even in places which are about six stories and have no view other than some suburban expressway.

Given the "speed" of the elevators at most HPs I have stayed at, I'd probably think a high floor is a downgrade.

The link may be working, but it's not clear Jeff is. The announcement said he'd answer questions for 30 minutes; the post went up half an hour ago, and not a single question has been answered.

I really like Lufthansa and would love to fly more and earn top status with them. Unfortunately, they don't do domestic flights in the U.S. so it's harder for me to earn miles. Should they make it easier for Americans?

If they tout their top tier as designed for "globalists", yes.

I don't have time to read through all the questions; some of them are... weird.

To just see what Jeff is posting, look at

(it's pretty easy to guess what the question was)

I didn't even get the email until after it had started.

I've met Jeff and have had positive interactions with him before. Reading his replies so far, just seem like cherry picking, PR speak.

Blah, blah, blah, great partnership, blah, blah, blah.

I never got the e-mail. I'm amazed that his comment karma is still positive, considering how brutal downvoting can get in the reddit churning sub.
