Cat change and points adjustment
I held a 3-night P&C reservation for HR Thessaloniki in late August. Res was made when hotel was a cat 3, hotel then changed to cat 2 August 1st.
GP confirmed that points balance (6k) would be credited back at time of stay. Cash part was quickly fixed by FD at check-in.
Fast-forward, more than 3 weeks and several emails later I still haven't received the points back, and was charged for a Cat 3. Moreover several emails remained unanswered. One email seemed to have been sent by GP to hotel, and hotel replied to GP they need to fix the issue. So an internal exchange with client (me) in copy. Still no resolution however.
Anybody else facing such problem with the cat changes ? Quite unusual and also disappointing.
