This is really a very good promo - but really sadly that I am relocated back to Europe where Hyatt's presence is not great. I was able to take full advantage of the last offer so for this offer, I think I can probably only get 5 nights with a Hyatt in Dusseldorf... sign...

This re-run of the spring promo is OK, but I wish that next time Hyatt would offer a Faster Free Night for every 5 eligible nights! Which would be realistic by not allowing gaming of the system by earning a FFN for 2 one-nighters @$79 each as in days of yore !

If you max out this promo, you get 3k points per stay, or 15k points for every five stays. So just consider this a FFN with a cat 1-4 free night for every five qualifying nights. I personally usually prefer (flexible) points over time-restricted free nights.

IF. Not everybody is a road warrior who can stay 25 nights in a 91-day period in Hyatts! Esp. money-paid or at least C&P. So IF I stay 5 nights, a 5000-point bonus is nice, but only somewhat motivating.

Agreed, I travel 100% leisure and it is quite hard to hit even 10 nights in 90 days. I'm going down to the wire with requalifying, even, and will have something like 25 or 26 stays and 27 or 28 nights. I travel literally every 2-3 weeks and hotel hop as well.

Lucky for me I had 4 nights at French Quarter and 4 nights at Orange County since the first of September. I will find at least two more nights soon.

Sorry folks, FFN will never return. It is what it is.

If it does not fit your travel pattern, try the current spg promo which req just 2 nights to qualify for the bonus...

I m sticking with this one because my travel pattern allows it. Otherwise I would go else where.

I had exactly 25 nights booked within the promo period prior to the announcement of the promotion. These nights will take me to Diamond again for 2017, and the 75k points are certainly a nice bonus!

Do multiple rooms count towards this promotion? For example, if I book 2 rooms for 4 nights, will it count as 8 nights towards this promotion?

Thanks for the help.

Any ideas whether my stay from 8/31-9/2 count as 1 night or 2 nights towards this promo? Any chance of it counting for 0 since the stay began before the promo started?

I would go out on a limb and say it's highly doubtful. 1) I assume that very few people have completed 5 nights within 6-7 days. 2) It already takes 1 day for a stay to post so that means anyone that did complete 5 stays would have just checked out yesterday and waiting for the stay to post today. (Assuming a Sept 1st checkin starts the promo and not a Sept 1st checkout) 3) If I recall correctly, it can take an additional day for the bonus points to post.

I am also almost 100% leisure and the best I can do in one quarter is 15 nights if I push it, with 10 night being most likely. As a result, this promo is much more effective for cheaper stays than nights somewhere like Manhattan.
