Wow, 25 nights at that Park Hyatt would be impressive! At $500/night, that's $12,500 minimum, or more than 6% of the way to Lifetime Diamond!

I received confirmation from "My Hyatt Concierge" that eligible nights at MGM Resorts will qualify.

Points & Cash also qualify.

Read the locked thread "Will Hyatt have a Q3/Q4 2016 promo?"

If you know anything about IT or rolling out a business promo, it take weeks to prepare and signed off before is rolled out. This promo was not a response to that thread.

I don't recall anyone claiming that the promo was a response to the thread.

I don't believe in a million years that HGP (or for that matter, any loyalty program) gives a small rodent's rear end about what I want or post here. That doesn't stop me from discussing the possibility of future promos. I get it (from that now locked thread) that you weren't interested in the promo and want to spend time with your family. That's fine, don't register if you don't want the promo and ignore those of us who are actually happy about the promo.

I'm excited about the promo. I was on the fence about going for Diamond (still need 18 nights...), but this definitely pushes me over.

And, in combination with the 10% points rebate going on, that will make C&P reservations a little cheaper.

Agreed - from a points perspective, the Hyatt Regencies offer more points during the weekends when they close the club, think it's about 4.8k points vs. 3k at PH.

IOW, just like the last HGP bonus. I've had both Mlife and P+C stays during previous promotions, and they always counted... although Hyatt concierge once told me they wouldn't.
