More details have emerged on Hyatt’s first-ever Hyatt Centric hotel in the Caribbean.
The new Hyatt Centric Barbados project is slated to debut in 2020, Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc officials said at a media briefing this week during the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s State of the Industry conference in Nassau.
The Hyatt Centric, which will be located in the heart of historic Bridgetown, will consist of a pair of 12-story towers with a total of 190 rooms.
It will also include a portfolio of penthouse suites.

Ziva Barbados? not Centric
read this article today. nice to see hotels being announced amid the Covid-19 crisis.
wondering if this is the same location, and if a Ziva is being built versus the Centric. "Bay Street" for the Ziva and "Carlisle Bay" for the Centric could be the same.
Anybody have an idea or has more insight?

The biggest insult however, according to the concerned citizen, was that the Hyatt Centric brand would have created jobs at the hotel and surrounding areas through new restaurants and other guest services, while the Hyatt Ziva brand was all-inclusive.
