Actually, what is typically labeled in English as "lotion" (or "cosmetics water" in kanji) in Japanese hotels is a liquid used for the face. The other 3 items in the box are also for facial care. Many Hyatt hotels in Japan do carry lotion (for hands and body); I hope Hyatt Place Kyoto does as well.

HR London Stratford and HR Manchester (UK) have all switched to bulk Appelles amenities in the past few months. The formulation is not super different from Pharm, but IMO the scent is better. I’d say it’s a great step up and it’s interesting to see if Churchill (non-suites), Albert Embankment (when it’s running out of current Antipodes stocks) and Birmingham will follow through.

Ditto! 50 Bowery was using Jonathan Adler for a while. Glad to hear they're onto something else now, assuming Malin & Goetz smells nicer.

Had this at HC Milan. Maybe it's one of the HC brand standards? I put it between 'ok,' and a notch below that.

They only had these at PH Jakarta too. The hotel said the whole PH network seems to have been having problems with toiletries. This brand is the Regency one.

A email to the manager and Le Labo magically showed up in the room. Still not the Blaise Mautin I was hoping for when booking the premium suite but much better than Pharmacopeia.

Left side was made specifically for Korea but this one had a Korean sticker covering up the Chinese details.
NIce catch! A lot of supply has factories in China and Canada. Reelly hard to avoid.
