I was told , I had to close my browser and delete cookies and log on again but still the same , after which I was told that I could not have received a email qualifying for Diamond status before the year has ended.
I really don´t get this. So my received and confirmed email does not count and I have to complete 86 nights to qualify for Diamond in 2017.
On top , he was quite stressed and rude at the end. I really like Hyatt , but this really questions if I will give my +140 nights next year to SPG .
Really disappointed by Hyatt.
Call back. I requalified in Oct, received the same email as you, and also received my credentials about a month ago.

Apparently, this upgrade was focused on back end systems to support tighter GP integration for Hyatt hotels.

The only difference I have noticed is that the 1,000 points/stay Courtesy Card bonus now posts with stays like the Diamond amenity points vs. a separate "promotion" that is triggered once a stay posts.

Of course, I haven't been able to log in since yesterday.

The Diamond Line has been updated with a message stating that any questions regarding recent transactions should be deferred to after January 1st.

I'm shocked that anyone is surprised by this, the website has been Hyatt's biggest weakness, and they are making no effort to improve it.

I'd love to know who the bright is who decided to do maintenance not only at what must be the busiest part of the hotel season but also on the eve of the membership tier qualification and requalification.

My thoughts exactly. This is definitely the DUMBEST time of the year to decide to upgrade the system in a manner that takes down the entire website for DAYS.

The person that decided that they absolutely, positively had to have the infrastructure in place to announce a reduction in benefits in early January.

Other than the rumoured changed to the validity of the DSUs, what reduction in benefits?

I can't infer all the specifics from a couple service requests. We'll just have to wait for those.

That's what I'm afraid of too.... first flood the system with status matches and benefits like DSU's and then limited their use

Trying to make a booking now, and getting this ugly message.

Thank you for refusing my money, Hyatt.

This is what is really ticking me off, they couldn't have waited until January after everyone was all sorted out with their status
