Hi all,

I'm flying up with a friend to Düsseldorf late October. Planning to a stay at Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf under my name in order to get benefits (we'll share a room)

The thing is, my friend is on a business trip and his work pays for accommodation. Will it be possible for me to ask the front desk to change the billing name on the receipt at check-out so that he can get reimbursed without hassle?

Never done it in Düsseldorf but on any other Hyatt I stayed all around the world include in Europe the room in under my name and my GP # to get benefits and Invoice if it’s a business trip on the company.

I would make the reservation in your friend's name - just ask for the notation that you, Diamond member with Diamond number,, are the second occupant of the room. You'll get the status perks for the room just not the points / stay credit.

I emailed Hyatt Düsseldorf and they said they should be able to change the name on the invoice.

So I won't take any particular steps and simply ask for it at check-out. ;)
