How long does it take to for a stay to post ?

Hey guys. How long after a stay do the nights and points post on hyatt.com? Thanks!

IME it usually posts on the 2nd day, i.e. check out on August 2nd, it posts on August 4th.

I just finished a stay this past Wednesday and by Friday my stay and points had posted (finished my 12th night for the Hyatt Diamond challenge)

I've had some post on the same day and others 2 days after. It will vary sometimes.

Normally, it's the day following the day that you checkout. International and Hyatt Place / Hyatt house properties can be longer but have improved in recent years.

I typically see the following day after check out, usually between 12pm-2pm EST.

I've had my recent stay at the HR Kathmandu post the day after I check out. That's been the quickest one so far.

Hyatt is actually one of the faster brands (vs HH and IHG).

In my experience, they always post one day after check-out. In case they don't post by then, it means I will have to claim them manually.

IME, domestic stays post the next day. So check out on Aug 1st and posts midday Aug 2nd.

Same for Hyatt Residence Club?

I'm four days out, and nothing.

This is for a Hyatt stay booked on the Hyatt website as a hotel room - not a timeshare promo or anything else. But it did sound like their computer system is a little more disconnected from the main Hyatt cloud than regular hotels.

Me too. Pretty consistently 2nd day.

My stays always post around 9 or 10 am PT the day after check-out.

Seems like Hyatt starts their data import around 5 pm UTC, so my stays/points consistently post between Noon-3 pm EST. On rare occasions, they've come through the second day the same time.

Have never stayed at a Hyatt Residence Club so can't comment on that.

Looks like my Hyatt Residence Club (Maui) didn't forward the folio on to World of Hyatt. That's what WoH said. They gave me the number to call Maui (yes, with Hyatt, you have to do it yourself if you want to get your points!) and at Maui, they asked me where I'd like to folio sent. I should have asked for a copy to come to me, but I was so befuddled by all of this that I just said something like, "uh, what? I don't know. Huh? I mean - I just want my points and credit. Where do you normally send it?"

I think they understood, but I wouldn't be surprised if I have to intervene further before this is over.

Tight ship there, World of Hyatt.
