These numbers and lists are very impressive, my compliments :tu:. I’m curious (good thing I’m not a cat ;)) as to how and why they’ve been achieved. Wondering about personal leisure travel vs road warrior, multiple consecutive 1 night stays in a given area vs multiple nights in the same hotel, achieving many unique hotels as hobby or goal (like those who want to visit every country)? Thank you.

Man who keeps a detailed list like that? There is no way to look up where you've stayed so one must have kept detailed records. Although apparently Hyatt can see as the GM of the ph Kyoto mentioned I've stayed at some impressive places in an email to me. I would be guessing if i tried to remember them all at this point.

Some of you have done alot of traveling! I've only visited 28 Hyatt based hotels (lots multiple times) but 90 plus percent of the time I've stayed in some sort of a suite. Rather than listing all of the properties that I've been to, I'll list the top 5 Hyatt based suites that I've stayed in instead.....

Stein Eriksen Residences- 2 Bedroom Suite- This would take the number 1 spot on the list unfortunately it's no longer part of the Hyatt ecosystem so I won't count it even though when I stayed there it was. The room was maybe the nicest I've ever paid to stay at. It was 1700 square feet of all high end finishes and not a single detail was missed. While it's no longer part of Hyatt's SLH program I would 100% stay there again. The property, location, and the rooms are special.

1. Park Hyatt NYC- 1 Bedroom Sky Terrace Suite - This is a special room as well due to the access you get to a large open air terrace which is somewhat rare in NYC. The partial view of Central Park and Carnegie Hall wasn't bad either. Not a detail is missed, the room measures in near 1100 or 1200 square feet plus a 400 to 500 square foot terrace with a couch and dining table to enjoy if the weather is good. It's the PHNY's second most expensive suite in the building, the cash price can get up into the 5k per night range.

2. Andaz 5th Ave- 2 Bedroom Empire Suite- Another unique room in NYC, this is the Andaz 5th Avenue's largest and most expensive room. It has an amazing wrap around terrace easily close 1000 square feet, the room's interior is around 1200. The terrace, while not as private as it could be, gives you a view of the Empire State Building, the Freedom Tower, the 5th Ave Library, and Times Square. It has to be one of the best hotel terraces in all of NYC. The room was nice too but a tad dated, it scores almost all of it's points from the terrace alone.

3. Park Hyatt Beaver Creek- 2 Bedroom James Chadwick Suite- This room is a little dated as well other than one of the main bathrooms which is new but it's huge coming in at 1600 square feet or so. It's also the second most expensive room on the property and can get up into the 5k per night range as well over holiday ski weekends. It has 2 terraces and the best views of Beaver Creek, the beginner's gondola is literally right below the room.

4. The Lodge at Spruce Peak- 2 Bedroom Alpine Suite- If your an east coast skier this place is a must visit, the Alpine Suites are on the top floor and give you awesome views of Mt Mansfield at Stowe. The finishes are nice, the room was comfortable at around 1400 square feet of apartment like living. This property is also very expensive over holiday ski weekends although not quite as bad as the PH Beaver Creek or the GH Vail during the same time periods but I would give this room the nod over the GH Vail for 4th place due to the mountain views from the living room and terrace.

5. Grand Hyatt Vail - 2 Bedroom Grand King Suite - We were placed on the first floor, normally we get a high floor when we stay here but the Vice President was there during our ski trip so the secret service had most of the best high floor rooms. (What a great use of taxpayer money, right) In any event we were upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom suite during that stay and ended up loving the first floor room. Even though the property is located a little further away from the main part of Vail it is still ski in ski out. The rooms are beautiful and all the finishes are high end. Along with the Grand Hyatt Nashville these two properties have to be the nicest GH's in the United States.
