Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport the Circle REVIEW MASTER THREAD

Greetings FlyerTalkers!

Expected to open in 2017, Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport will feature 250 guestrooms, including 17 suites, and several food and beverage outlets, a fitness center, and more than 3,210 sq m (34,000 sq ft) of meeting and conference facilities and pre-function space.

Hyatt Place Zurich Airport

Greetings FlyerTalkers!

Expected to open in 2017, Hyatt Place Zurich Airport will offer 300 guestrooms, and amenities including a market with made-to-order meals and snacks around the clock; a kitchen offering breakfast, lunch and dinner; a café and bar offering coffee, beer, liquor and wine; a four-station e-room; and well-equipped fitness center with cardio equipment and free weights and benches. The hotel will have access to the meeting and conference facilities at Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport.

My goodness, over 5 years from now! Good news, though, to see Hyatt expanding in Europe. But 2 hotels in Zurich - this HP and the HR posted in another thread - in addition to the PH? Would be great to see other counties in Europe get some love.

Nice to see the recent expansion plans, but seriously, 5 years?? And two more properties in Zurich and another in Moscow?? How about Amsterdam, Brussels, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Munich, Frankfurt, Oslo...

It takes 5 years to build? Can one really plan on a hotel being active 5 years from now?

I wonder about five years time horizon too. A lot can happen in the real estate market and some long term projects never get built or re-flagged before opening.

This is Europe. Yes it takes that long to build a property...

But then again, if this was asia, it'll be ready next month !
