Diamond here, got the 10 night 20K promo. Little disappointed, would rather have the same spring/fall promos as last year, e.g. the 20 night 50k.

Now that's targeted..just not lucrative

5 Nights + 5,000 Points = 5,000
10 Nights + 10,000 Points = 15,000
15 Nights + 15,000 Points = 30,000
20 Nights + 20,000 Points = 50,000

This promo is not much of an incentive and won't cause me to adjust my planning, especially after the change in redemption value for some properties..

Diamond member here, stayed 30 nights last year, got the "Stay 10, get 20k", better than nothing, I guess.

As a Diamond who completed the 50k on the last promo, I just got the standard 15/20/25 night stay offers.

Not real excited about it. I have some stays booked now, but it would be a big stretch to even get to the first level.

My offer is 20K after 10 nights. I've been a Plat for the last seven years based on nights, with 23 nights / 10 stays last year.

Anyone knows what happens if you have a stay with a check-in prior to 1/15 but check-out after 1/15?

As a non-elite Hyatt Gold Passport member with three nights last year I got this offer

Stay Earn Total Points Earned
5 Nights + 5,000 Points = 5,000
10 Nights + 10,000 Points = 15,000
15 Nights + 15,000 Points = 30,000
20 Nights + 20,000 Points = 50,000

I got the standard offer. I happen to have a Hyatt-heavy spring conference schedule, so I know I'll get the 15 nights based on 11 work and one 3-night+DSU paid stay.

Losing MER and the fact that April rates are about 10% higher than November rates at my favorite closed-lounge getaway HR means that I'm not sure i'm going to go for the extra 10 nights. If I had to mattress run the whole thing, it would be about 1.4 cpp and a lot of time. One staycation 20 miles away each month isn't a big deal, three becomes problematic time-wise unless i'm buying at less than 1 cpp.

Unfortunately, many airport HPs have lost their mind on pricing, and I find myself spending 10k Marriott points on a Cat 2 Courtyard instead.

Red face Random number generator???

Well, I may be the dumb one here. But reading through the 6 pages of posts, I failed to figure out the logic behind the allocation of the different offers by HGP...

Am I the only one?

Me: probably one of the very last person to qualify for the Diamond challenge (qualified around 6pm EST Oct 31). Re-qualified Diamond till 2016. Do you think Hyatt wants to convert me definitely from the other 2 chains?

20k for 10 nights.
Completely beyond me...
Maybe I posted too much on FT and blew my cover!

Same here. Needless to say I will not be going out of my way to stay at Hyatt during the promo. If I happen to be there, great, but it doesn't make me change any of my plans at all.

Its very frustrating seeing some non-elite members getting 5000 points for 5 nights and I only get a "5000 points for 2 stays" offer !!!!

I precisely have a 5 night stay booked for febuary !!! ....
