Are you?

Did you confirm with them that you are explicitly excluded and that it's not just a registration system bug? (there were others who got a registration error)

Diamond with 26 stays, 64 nights last year

I've only got three one night stays booked so far, and they are all before the promo starts

My travel tends to be light early in the year though, so probably not going to get much out of it. Easily maxed out the Q4 promo last year.
I'm in a similar position, with one three-night stay booked during the promo period and (expiring) DSU confirmed. Since my travel early in the year tends to be lighter, the ten night offer would have been more realistic.

Now I must decide whether to go for 15 nights by the end of April (and getting nothing if I don't hit 15 nights) versus using SPG more during the overlapping promo periods and planning to use Hyatt more later in the year when the promo offers might be better suited to me. If I had received the offer that gives something for 10 nights, I would clearly arrange my hotel stays to hit that threshold.

Anyone else completely excluded?
Try again tomorrow (Jan 12), in case they are enforcing the following rule:
What are the registration dates for the promotion?
January 12 through April 30, 2015.
They also tend to schedule any website maintenance to occur over the weekend, so it could have been a temporary outage unrelated to the above.

Good luck.

Yes, I confirmed by email: I'm not eligible. If I'm the only person in the situation, I'll gripe (or worse). I'd understood that different rewards were being offered, but I didn't know anyone was deliberately excluded.

Today I checked into the GHNY for what was to be a three-week stay. Yeah, right.

I don't think it's right to exclude anyone, but especially it's not right to exclude 365RoadWarrior!

Wasn't the hype for this promo that everyone would get an offer (of something)? I'd escalate before accepting that you're not eligible, perhaps starting with the official Hyatt representatives here on FT.

It was:

"Great news! A new Hyatt Gold Passport promotion – tailored just for you - will launch in January and we hope you’ll participate. Be sure to register for this new promotion beginning January 12, 2015 to learn what your exclusive offer is, and begin earning thousands of bonus points on stays through April 30, 2015. Check your inbox in January to learn more."

The tailoring for 365Roadwarrior resulted in an exclusive offer for a lump of coal. Pretty pathetic.

Forgot to add I had 26 stays, 54 nights last year and currently have 1, one night stay reserved with Hyatt for Feb. Early year is usually very light for me.

Mine isn't quite a lump of coal, but definitely not a diamond either:

10 nights = 20,000 points

Looks like you all will be getting a lot more points than I am.

I should add: I had 24 stays / 40 nights in 2014. I got my Diamond status with the "Earn Diamond Status Sooner" promo, with 10 nights Sept-Nov.

It surely must be an IT issue....

I am a Diamond with 42 nights last year. I only received the 10 nights for 20K offer.

Given the uproar with the most recent 20 nights with 50k bonus offer, I would have thought Hyatt would have learned their lesson.

Clearly they have not. I have 65 nights scheduled over the next 6 months. Those nights will not be going to Hyatt.

Shame on you Hyatt. Rather pathetic.

What I also find rather pathetic is that no e-mails seem to have been send yet....and that I have gotten no confirmation for registration either.

I first approached Hyatt with the assumption that it was. After all, I was presented with an offer after entering my Gold Passport number only to be told it was invalid. After two rounds of email...

I really can't believe it's just a very narrow exclusion group. If I'm just one of many, I don't really have a gripe.

(I will cut and paste message here shortly, after a "courtesy check with a Hyatt rep.)

Diamond with 67 nights last year. Just received a special thank for staying at my 75th Hyatt world wide. And.....

20k points for 10 nights with this promo. Rather insulting and very disappointing given my loyalty over the years and frequency last year.

Oh, and no email.
