Microsoft Targeted Free Elite Tier Revoked

Just received email saying they changed my status back, as I was not "eligible" for promotion

goofy777 May 22, 2014 3:51 pm

I received the same e-mail.

Same. I have a 4 night stay for 2 rooms starting tomorrow at the My Elite Rate. Hope I don't run into any difficulties with the rate being honored.

Thought this was likely to happen. Not a big loss since I don't stay at Hyatt's much.

How do they know? I actually do work for MS, and I just am not aware of this promotion through MS. But Hyatt still revoked me.

Did you register the promo using MS IP address?

if you indeed work for MS, I guess you should have no problem getting it back.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine. He's a legitimate Microsoft employee, but he had his status yanked.

PFE's work on the road at client sites and in hotel rooms.

I believe all the hotel need is some identification that he is indeed a MS employee.

A re-registration via its internal systems or maybe an email from his corporate email should do the trick.

The problem is in having to get it back. Most of my MSFT employee acquaintances are out of the MSFT offices most of the time and probably wouldn't fully read a Hyatt email of this sort until perhaps after discovering status was revoked.

Does anyone have the terms of this in a screenshot? I had a link of http://hyatthotels.hyatt.com/content...ast-track.html and as I am an eligible employee I had signed up but now find the link is dead and there is no record of me signing up for it according to GP customer service. Very odd.
