How many Hyatt points did YOU earn in 2013?

.......and what will you do with them? Save? Redeem? Upgrades? ONE major vacation every few years?

Hopefully you are over the "I didn't get lifetime Diamond".....and

I earned about 140k, usually transfer about 50k every Jan to WN for 30k RR points.....

What do you do?

I earned about 75K this year, which has pretty much been my normal amount for the past few years. We take one 1-week vacation per year as a family, and then several little weekend trips here and there throughout the rest of the year. Depending on where we go, I either use the points each year, or save them and burn them every other year.

This year, since I had the total from the past two years, I recently used them to book a 6-night stay in Key West next May with the family, and used the rest for the wife and I's anniversary trip.

Let's see ... Hyatts are mostly out of my current price range, as I've had 22 IHG and 14 Marriott nights this year with only one paid plus two award at Hyatt.

one paid stay, 555 points
3,500 bonus points from that stay
about 19,000 from the credit card, mostly from two 5,000 point bonuses
total about 23,000

Mostly I have been banking points for when I need city stays. Next year, I might need a week in downtown Boston during a conference. I'd like to use them at HR Kathmandu or PH Seoul or GH Santiago, but that would require more unusual travel than I expect.

Oh boy, not sure I want to know...just under 370K - no credit card. Unfortunately (for lifetime status) and luckily (from cost), many of those are bonus points plus a few for compensation.

Mainly we are saving for the next few years travel. Using some in the near future at hotels that are moving to cat. 7 next year.

I earned 185,000 points; I don't have the credit card so that's all from stays and bonuses.

Spent 48k at the HR Tokyo, 45k at the PH Saigon, 22k at the PH Tokyo, and 15k at the Andaz WeHo along with a few more points transferred to Southwest to top up for an award.

Net, I guess I'm ahead by around 50k for the year.

433,495 in 2013 (with 9 nights over 2 stays left this year to get it a bit higher), down from 528,706 in 2012.

I use them mostly to pay for my families travel and only keep 100k-200k on hand at any given time (with a UR stash to pull from if need be).

About 2,000 points short of a million GP points earned in 2013. Currently at PH Vendome and have one other stay left, so should easily cross that threshold
