I stayed here earlier in October. The lounge is closed and the food options are limited. This is from an email I received before arriving...

Lounge was still closed a few weeks ago, and it appears most dining venues are closed unless they are busy. ( Orlando Dining | Outdoor Seating | Hyatt Regency Orlando ). When we stayed the restaurants were open though (Presidents' Day weekend), and the B Line Diner was available for breakfast, otherwise it's the Market which has a more limited menu for breakfast. Considering I booked a suite for $166/night and got resort fee and parking waived as a Globalist, it was a good value for us, but I was underwhelmed in general. One reason we went with it over Grand Cypress is that all the pools are heated at this property, the big pool at Grand Cypress is not is my undestanding, but that may be less of a concern when you're going.

I'm actually trying to decide between this property and the Grand Cypress too. Going with a family and this property seems to have bigger rooms available with decent "work from Hyatt" rates. The Grand Cypress though seems to have more activities with a nicer pool complex for families.

We stayed here earlier this year and got full free breakfast in B-Line Diner for our entire family of four, it was pretty good.

For being in Orlando the hotel is quite walkable to stores (including a CVS and Walgreens) and restaurants (ranging from Denny's to The Capital Grille). Google Map of area.
Not sure on the pools, though I believe at least one is heated.
