I have had zero revenue stays this year, so my assumption is my stay 1 get 5,000 was targeted to get me back in a Hyatt frame of mind. In past years I’d get 2,000 point promos when I had not stayed for long periods of time.

Well, as others have stated above, the negative impact here is likely to be pretty strong. While targeting some members to get them to take another look at Hyatt, they seem to be alienating other members to the point of losing their business.

And for us very LOYAL customers who have had $$$$$ revenue, we get nothing. What is wrong with this picture?

I wonder what the criteria is on who they are targeting... I'm at 40 nights this year and will qualify for Diamond again in a matter of weeks, current point balance is around 700,000. No email.

Well, I'm US/Domestic. I didn't get anything either, if that's a consolation.

Like Andaz5, though, I'm already "up there" with 50+ nights.

Well, it's obvious, why would Hyatt need to throw points at you if you're already staying there frequently?

I've not had a revenue stay at Hyatt this year and got the 5K/1 stay offer.

I sent an email this morning saying that this promo will only cause discontent amongst their loyal customers that didn't receive a targeted email. I asked for a promotion and basically said that if I don't get one, I'll just switch my future Hyatt reservations to Marriotts, and if I do get a promo, I'll do the opposite (switch my Marriott reservations to Hyatts). We'll see what happens!

+1

I've had 0 stays anywhere this year. This will probably be my first.

Terms and conditions clearly state "excluding mlife properties'. A bit odd/annoying given that paid mlife stays count towards status.

I received the 5,000 points for 2 stays.

Wish I could switch

I received the 5K for 2 Stays offer, which is great and I am happy about. I will definitely max it out.
But I do wish I could switch to the offers with more stays, even 8K for 4 stays; fewer points per stay but would be nice to have incentive to send more business to Hyatt.

I have the credit card, but did not receive any spend offers (just 5k for 2 stays).
