Diamond Line

If any of you ever have the true privilege of speaking with Sarah Delimonte on the Diamond Line consider yourself lucky. One of THE nicest reps I have ever had the privilege of speaking with. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and warm. Most impressive. And yes, I did talk with her manager and send an email about the VERY positive experience with her.

Great for you to give her a shout out. All to often we post about stuff that makes us mad and not about items that go well. Well done

From my personal experience, most of them could help u to solve the issue professionaly while some reps. are not so helpful. You even could tell it from the first voice you heard.;) Just curious, how could u know the rep.'s name? I have made calls hundreds of times, but no one tell u their names.

I asked her what her name was. ;)

There is no such a thing as "Diamond" line. There is a phone number for Diamond customers that connect to the same pool of (un)informed agents as if you would call the reservations department with no status.

Thank you for sharing that with us! It is always great to hear about the positive interactions our members have with our associates. We’ll be sure Sarah gets the praise that she deserves for her wonderful efforts.

Safe Travels,

I usually ask for the agent's name at the start of any call center interaction.

Thank YOU! I really like knowing that people who provide good service are recognized. I know that Kimpton has a great program for their employees who do a good job so this reassures me that Hyatt really is listening - much appreciated!

Can someone PM me the number? Still haven't gotten my credentials yet.

Thanks.

If you already have Diamond status, just call the regular Hyatt number and they'll give it to you.

Called twice, every time the agent insists she is a "diamond agent" and can help me.

They are as there is NO Diamond line anymore. The same agents (reservation ones) are supposed to handle all inquiries whether they come from base or Diamond members.

Its sad how this occured and it sounds like the same thing is happening at American Airlines. I think there were official diamond representatives in the past that were much more knowledegable but its clear that over the last year or so this hasn't been the case. Its like educating them on policy half the time.... I dropped my Diamond Line Rep when they made an error that costed me points and they wouldn't compensate for it. Even after acknowledging their error. I won't say more than this because Hyatt then might use that as a reason to drop some items just like they claimed Gx bonus's were dropped due to causing customer complaint issues (which were really training issues that didn't get resolved).

Now if we could use the 4 confirmed suite awards for Award stays I'd be very happy again :) It would make my smile even bigger than it is due to their great breakfast and walks policy. Overall I do think Hyatt is still near the top of most programs for perks.

People who get good representatives when they call in are just lucky now....
Its not anything to do with status or the 'diamond line'.

I'm not sure that I've EVER had a poor Hyatt phone agent. Seriously.

It's very clear that Hyatt takes the money they could spend on IT and instead spends it on CS training!

Then you haven't obviously called many times and/or haven't experience the service that you used to get from REAL Diamond agents.
