A quick question - for those who book a suite (revenue), am I right that use of Club is included? Only relevant to non-Globalists, of course. Thank you.

To the best of my knowledge, all suite bookings include club access and benefits. Applies to revenue, upgrades, and suite award bookings.

The hotel's website says:

"All suites include a separate sitting area, Grand Club access and access to all areas of Nagomi Spa and Fitness"

Interesting, different story. Just now, got reply from
My Hyatt Concierge that "The Grand Executive Suite King is the official suite when using suite upgrades at Grand Hyatt Tokyo. Since this suite is not available a suite upgrade cannot be applied."

Their information is either very old or very new.

Before I contact My Hyatt Concierge for using award to upgrading, I can see standard rate available for both Grand Suite King and Grand Executive Suit Twin. Now I am very curious about what GrandHyatt Tokyo is doing about the suite upgrade policy.

Does it also include Executive twin suite? Probably just like flight business class, there are only one or two suites could be upgraded by using upgrade award. correct?

They offered me 4pm checkout as an Explorist. But I am a long time former Diamond customer, so that may have had something to do with that.

I would assume so, but I booked a Grand King and was upgraded to a Grand Executive Suite King, so I can't say for sure.

When we tried to use a suite upgrade here a month ago, only the twin room was available. We were told it is the King suite that is the allowable upgrade, not the twin .
So we changed our plans are booked Park Hyatt instead.

I'm surprised they weren't more flexible with the Twin suite.
