PH Tokyo points upgrade worthwhile?
 
I expect to be spending 2 or 3 nights in Tokyo, mid November & I plan to stay at the PH there.

If I purchase the regular room, what will my 6,000 points get me?

A little bigger "park" room I would assume. Whether it is worth the extra points is up to you. ALL of the rooms are VERY nice.

Wouldn't he get the Park Room anyway (if available) given he is Diamond? To be certain, I'd pay for the Park, and move up to the Corner Park, which I like the best, even more than the suites.

I thought the 6,000 points got you a suite upgrade, in which case he'd get a Park Suite, which is quite large (although there's no door between the bed area and the sitting room).
