Hyatt Regency Brussels Breakfast
 

Anyone who has stayed at this property can comment on their breakfast buffet? Or maybe information on nearby choices for an excellent buffet?

I stayed there last July, and as a Diamond, before the new 'rule' about free breakfast-- I was offered a complimentary cup of coffee either via room service or at the restaurant near the front desk. I did see the buffet and while not overwhelming, it had the usual cold meats, cheeses, fruits, breads etc.

Thanks for this fast reply Mauld but are there also hot choices available on the buffet like eggstation or waffles..

I stayed in Dec of 2002. I received a nice pot of coffee and a lot of yeasty pastry products and juice gratis for the Diamond Breakfast. Very nicely displayed (much like PH Vendome) and tasty. I didn't see any hot buffet though. Not good if you require protein in the am.

Well I just reserved a room at this property for a 112 Euro including taxes and complete breakfast buffet. Looking forward to what it will be like. By the way, the reservation agent on the phone told me there is no lounge and that the entire hotel is considered as Regency Club due to its small size!

You do know that it is a bit away from the city center and a a 10 min streetcar ride from the Av Louise station? I enjoyed my stay there, but wish it were closer to restaurants, sights etc. That being said, they gave me a lovely (but small) suite on the top floor with a terrace looking out towards the city. I was on a FFN stay and received a 1/2 bottle of wine, chocolates & fruit as an amenity. The streetcar (#93 ??) stops just beyond the front door and was very convienient for getting to the metro.
