Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo
 

Has anyone stayed here yet? Thinking about visiting in April -- where is it, what is it close to, etc. thanks

The Grand Hyatt SP is on the south side of the city, in the Morumbí area. It sits accross the street from 2 of SP's largest malls and is close to a lot of business areas. It recently opened so it is all brand new and the service should be excellent. Many hotel chains have opened grand luxury hotels in this area of SP: Hilton, Meliá, Blue Tree (local chain). If you're a diamond, then you should have no problem with being upgraded. Let us know how it goes.

Just completed a stay using hyatt free night certificate. The hotel is nice, but way too south of tourist areas. The taxi ride from GRU was long. As platinum, I was "upgraded" to high floor, bridge view, which I guess is nicer, welcome amenity of pastries. There are two large malls 3 blocks away, which have food courts and restaurants, they are high end malls. Staff was very professional, rooms were spacious.
