When I stayed they didn´t have any restriction. To be fair at most hotels I can order as much as I want.

When the server seated us, she clearly stated that it was order as much as you want from ala carte + breakfast buffet. I do like hotels that communicate their policies clearly.

Attempting to book, but it appears 2 guests max, anyone has any luck emailing the hotel stating there'll be small children staying in the same room?

Being really busy so just got around noticing that I have not yet posted about my FANTASTIC stay at the Park Hyatt Saigon! Kudos to the GM Frederic Boulin and his amazing staff for making our stay a truly memorable one!

I had written the hotel in advance to explain that this will be to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary, and we also booked 2 rooms since our 2 adult sons would be joining us for this trip. So the hotel delighted us by upgrading my wife and I to the Lam Son Suite (I was told that it's the Park Suite but it's actually the Lam Son Suite) with a door which opens to the adjoining room where our sons will be staying! Wow, that is thoughtful hospitality.

Of course, the freshly cut roses, the complimentary bottle of Bordeaux wine, and the welcome amenities were much appreciated, but the Lam Son Suite is absolutely stunning, both inside and also the view of Lam Son Square! The furnishing was colonial chic and it made us feel so at home.

We had ordered the Mercedes V-class airport transfer since there were 4 of us with something like 6 suit cases and 4 backpack / computer cases so the Mercedes S-class would not have worked, and since they know that we were on the way to the hotel, we were greeted by the World of Hyatt Specialist at the hotel door to be ushered directly to our room where the check-in was done! Very nice indeed !

The staff and service were fantastic, absolutely Park Hyatt standard ! The housekeeping and shoes shine services were excellent as expected.

The hotel comped the Globalist breakfast for my 2 sons, so they were able to enjoy the amazing breakfast at Opera for 4 days - the food and drinks were some of the best that we ever had at any hotel.

This hotel is so ideally situated and is such a gem that we are already planning a return trip, either in 2019 or 2020. Well done, Monsieur Boulin, and please keep up the high standards!

Great feedback sapguy. We first went to the PH on our honeymoon when it first opened and frequently while we lived in Singapore. We love the place and the city. We’re heading back again for my wife’s 40th bday and our Anniversary at rhe end of 2019 and am looking forward to staying in the hotel again.

Thanks, and you and your wife will continue to love this Park Hyatt! It's now one of our favorite hotels anywhere in the world.

PM me if you need the email addresses of key people at this hotel, as well as for recommendations for restaurants, etc.

Anyone getting decent upgrades as Explorist? I didn't get much back as Gold with the old Hyatt Passport.

One of my favorite hotels in world. Every return is special, even as a lowly Explorist on an award stay, we were welcomed in a royal way. We were expecting to pay for breakfast, but were comped which made it more special. The hotel is a gem, wouldn't think about staying anywhere else in HCM

I'm not sure when others stayed here but all the Globalist treatment I got was a single free drink at the bar and a standard room with a broken closet and outlet. No Globalist welcome amenity here I guess. I'd call this the hotel that does the least for loyal customers and further tarnishes my opinion of Park Hyatt's as a whole. I'd suggest Hyatt just shut down or sells off this whole brand to a hotel chain that can properly manage a hotel.

I'd highly suggest staying at the Le Meridien or even Renaissance or Intercontinental for a proper hotel that costs half the price, is modern, and even after paying for club access is miles better than this Super 8 Motel.

Wow! Really sorry to hear about your bad experience.

Not sure why the Park Hyatt Saigon treated you so badly when it treated most of us in this thread so well?

You should stay at Le Meridien or Renaissance and leave the Park Hyatt to us

Yeah, I was stunningly impressed with the paper thin bacon! Even more impressed when it's served in a nice Mauviel pan ^

But did you say anything while on property? That’s how you you fix a stay when an issue occurs.

I'm looking at Park Hyatt Saigon for an upcoming friend's wedding. No status at all but looking to likely move some Chase pts over and get the WOH CC to redeem for 15k/night at a standard room (I'll qualify for Discoverist likely). The breakfast is very enticing and looking at the standard rate that includes breakfast...it seems it may be better deal to just pay it out of pocket for 2 guests...we'll stay 4 nights there total. ($283/night, vs $362/night for a rate that includes breakfast daily)

How much is the breakfast price per guest if we just charge it to our room? I read somewhere its about $23 USD?
