COMP STATUS
 
I am Platinum with Marriott and Starwood - will Hyatt comp. equivalent status - if so, how do I do it?

Call Hyatt and they will give u the fax number to fax over proof of your status and they will upgrade your membership.

I am SPG Plat and I got Diamond so u will go right to the top.

What is really amazing is that when you ask starwood to comp to platinum as a diamond HILTON/HYATT they say NO!!

I believe the Starwood program maintains some integrity by declining.

I faxed my Starwood Platinum statement and a copy of my Platimum card to the number listed on Gold Passport's website. Haven't heard anything from them. How did you know you were bumped up? Were you called? I'm staying at a Hyatt this weekend and would like to know if I'm entitled for Diamond benefits and the bonus points. I sent through the fax on the 20th of July.

It takes about 1-2 weeks from the time u send it and u can check the website to see if u are Diamond.
