Check in instead of spouse?
We have a room booked for one adult and one child. It's in my name. We got an amazing BRG rate that I don't want to give up.
Our plans have changed and now it's going to be my wife staying at the hotel. (I'm driving in the next morning instead of her; she doesn't want to.) Is there any way I can have my wife check in instead of me and still keep the rate? If I had it booked as 2A and 1C, I assume maybe I could try putting her name on the reservation or calling the hotel, but with it booked only as 1A and 1C I'm worried there is no way around this. |
Unless you booked a rate that was for 1A & 1C only, with 2A & 1C costing more, I don't see any issue with customer service adding your wife's name to the reservation.

Since you will be arriving in the morning, just call the hotel and explain to them that your wife will be arriving before you do.
