I have an upcoming stay and read the entire thread. I saw some common themes, and thought it would be useful to start a wiki. Please feel free to update or correct anything. I haven't stayed here, so the information is based on the contents of the thread:
- Diamond Suite Upgrades are NOT available at this property.
- Diamond members receive a complimentary full breakfast for up to 4 guests.
- The beds are very firm platform beds. I saw a few posts where a foam pad for the top of the bed was requested.
- Docked cruise ships that may obstruct the view from the Harbour view rooms.
- The hotel is 4 stories.
The concierge desk offers a weekly tour of the Rocks on Saturday.
Link that shows when cruise ships will be docked opposite the hotel:

As a data point, my tour was on a Tuesday as well. I did not see a sign at the desk, but there was a printed copy in my room and I asked the desk person who escorted me to the room to please sign me up. Johnathan is one of the staff concierge. Having just gotten off a 24 hour journey, it was a fantastic way to stretch my legs without being bogged down with tons of facts and figures.

Arrived here today and have been impressed so far. Got here at 9:30 AM and room was ready, congratulated us on our honeymoon, acknowledged diamond benefits and free breakfast while on a points stay. Desk agent also arranged for complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for the special occasion. No handwritten note. Unfortunately no Rocks tour until Saturday, but still loving the hotel.

Good to hear, last I heard they were doing it midweek, we will be there for the tour now. Does anyone know if there are any places within walking distance for a bite to eat or is the hotel fairly isolated? Don't think i will have time to start a Diamond challenge and was looking for something inexpensive for breakfast or lunch.

The Rocks Tour started on Tuesdays, but they received more requests for Saturdays, thus they decided to change.
Sailors Thai Canteen would be a good and reasonably priced lunch option, right on George St in the Rocks.
