This is great news but more properties in Europe would be most welcome!

Hotel Sierra and AVIA Hotels to become Hyatts
MODS: Can you consolidate with http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyatt...h-america.html
Hyatt announced they will acquire LodgeWorks LP, a private company that owns 24 hotels. One is a Hyatt Place and two are Summerfield Suites, and the other 21 are Hotel Sierra (to be rebranded SS) and 4 are AVIA (to be rebranded under a full service flag). Article: http://www.lodgingmagazine.com/News/...olio--910.aspx Great to see some more Hyatt location in some of these markets, and a BIG expansion of the Summerfield brand. (36 -> 54) Deal to close in third quarter 2011. |
This is great. More locations for Hyatt stays...
|
Any word of dates for Avia to Hyatt conversion?
All I have seen is 3rd quarter, any other updates? Specifically Napa.
|
Good Afternoon,
The conversion from Avia to Hyatt is set to take place in September. Sincerely, Chrissi R. |

Two Hyatts in Rancho Cordova, CA
The hotel that will become a new Summerfield Suites in Rancho Cordova, CA is one highway exit east and 2 miles away from the existing Hyatt Place in Rancho Cordova. Currently the nearest Hyatts are a Hyatt Place 15 miles to the north and a Hyatt Regency 15 miles to the west.
