Overlapping Stays - Does only 1 Count?

I had booked a long weekend stay from tonight to Monday (Fri-Mon) at one Hyatt.

However, yesterday work plans changed around so now I'm flying out early on Sunday to a client location and staying Sun-Wed at another Hyatt.

So I have an overlapping night on Sunday at 2 hotels.

Will I get only 1 qualified night for Sunday night? I'm hoping I can get it to count as 2 hotel nights so I can get 5k points for the Endless Possibilities promo.

Anyway, I'm planning to leave DND in the door at my first hotel when I leave early out on Sunday so that should be fine.

Thoughts?

Chances are, no. You could call cust svc and try, and it might work, but don't count on it.

My suggestion is call Hyatt Customer Service and Hotel's Manager on duty to cancel the Sunday - Monday room. By doing this, you get your money back and stay qualification without a single problem. If this is not possible, then just call Hyatt Customer Service, explain the condition and most probably they will put the qualifying stay in (do not forget to collect the folio for each hotel) ^^^ Hope it helps ;)

+1 - My suggestion would be to try to get "early checkout" without a fee at the 1st hotel so you don't have to pay for the night for "nothing". Explain the situation and that you'll be checking into another Hyatt on Sun night should help.
