Friends & Family Rate

After a quick Google search, discovered a "Friends & Family" rate at the Hyatt in Westlake, CA. Can book on hyatt.com and nothing is stated in the rules, but I assume that the stay will accrue points and night credit?

My guess is going to be no points/night credit for the Friends & Family rate based on the policy at Marriott for such rates. These rates offer a much larger discount than the usual promotional rates, which is why Marriott does not give points or credit towards elite status for such paid stays.

I would also say that it's doubtful - confirm if it matters to you.

Neither does IHG/PC, as far as I know.

IHG/PC does not give you points. I will be surprised if Hyatt gave you points.

If this is $129 rate then it's really not much different from any weekend rate here. As a matter of fact AAA rate will be less.
I am quite certain that this one will earn points and credits as it's quite different from heavily discounted chainwide F&F rates at ICH, Fairmont etc...

Yes, it is the $129 rate. It's actually substantially cheaper on Sunday nights, though...

T&C say nothing about point credit, so will try giving them a call today:

Reservations can be made using offer code WESTFF by calling in at 1-800-233-1234 or reserving online at www.hyattwestlake.com. Offers may not be combined with any other offer. Printed offer must be presented when checking in. No cash value or substitutions. Offers subject to availability, does not include applicable taxes/fees.
