Hyatt Gold Passport just status matched me, so going to have my first Hyatt stay in 2 days..

Is there any current promotions I can sign up for to get extra points?

you may want to check the thread that's right below yours... "Finally Hyatt's April Promotion" ... but I understand your first stay is in 2 days already...

You should check the "Special Offers" page of the individual hotel at which you're staying in case there are any "G" bonuses. I find the global "G" bonus search page on hyatt.com to be unreliable.

Are the 'G' Bonuses back? I thought most/all expired recently and weren't renewed.

I don't know if they're back as I haven't stayed at a Hyatt in a couple months and therefore haven't checked. I was just giving advice in general.
