Wait, what the heck? Problems with point credits

Is this a computer glitch or right?
My wife just stayed at the Andaz 5th Ave. Her stay just posted at 180 points. She used a 6,000 point suite upgrade, but shouldn't she still get points? Two nights at 295 + 50 dollars for breakfast + 15 dollars for roomlinx... makes no sense. Or is it right? Thanks much.

It's Hyatt IT... don't expect much. Print out the folio from her Gold Passport account and make sure you have the cash price, and then just put in a missing stay request and note the details.

Its most likely a mistake, happens all the time. Contact Hyatt and they'll fix it.

Okay, thanks. I just wish we HAD paid $36 for that :D

Same - had a stay at the GH Taipei and was only credited 150 GP points...a call to CS should sort things out (the folio is sometimes necessary for international properties, as they don't always have access to the info).

This happens all the time. I usually just fax GP a copy of the folio, and it's always promptly fixed.

Good morning!

Please PM your Gold Passport account to us. I'll be happy to look into the posting!

Although I agree with others that this happens often (and is easily fixable) my last 5 stays have not posted correctly - WAY off...as the OP says.

Odd that is happening so much more frequently, and in such a huge point differential. Really odd in that Diamond points etc are posting....but not the base points. ($700 bill, got 900 base points)

Also found an instance where the stay points posted (albeit incorrectly) - but with no night or stay credit. Since it was booked directly with Hyatt, do not see how I could have been on an ineligible rate.

In total, I am missing over 10K in points and 3 nights credit for only (3) different hotels.

For those who do not regularly check their account - this might be the time to do so..........

Yep, I had 2 stays at the GH and PH Melbourne last week. The GH posted without the G bonus (which I expect) and the PH didn't post at all.
