Hyatt noob needs quick help with maximizing GP
I've been approved for a Hyatt Diamond Trial, and I have a 14-day stay beginning Monday the 7th at a Hyatt so I'll be joining your ranks.
I've gone thru as much FT as I can but am in a less-than-24-hour-rush to sign up for promos to maximize points on this stay. I know I will be unable to check in and check out, this must be just one stay, but can anyone pay it forward and give me a quick tip or promo or two to maximize points with my one lengthy stay? In other words, what would you do? I have found the G2 bonus and am looking for others. It can be awkward to search when confronted with a brand new hotel program! Anyone? Thanks! |
If the property has a club and it's closed during (part of) your stay, you should request the 2500 point compensation for club closure.
Otherwise... can't really think of anything major you would be missing out. If you had time to apply for the Chase VISA, you'd get extra points for paying with it. Gx bonus you already found. Double-check that there are no other bonuses at the property (search on hyatt page or ask here). |
If this is a US property, you can choose a 1,000 point 1W bonus as your "amenity"
There is a lot of useful information about GP in the sticky threads. The "Tutorial on getting your Hyatt points" explains everything you need to know to make sure you get all of your points. No real need to "rush" to figure everything out before your stay- with Hyatt you can always have bonuses added after your stay if you`ve missed anything. |
Check out this website. It has all of the Gx codes for Hyatt..
