Hope this helps.
If you complete the "challenge", you'll be Diamond through 2/13 and will receive 4 more Diamond Suite Upgrade Certs in 3/12.

Very excited to have learned about this challenge in time for a slew of nights scheduled from mid-May to late June... this will save me a $$$ from having to achieve diamond through stays this year. I'll wait until early May to schedule.

I just got off the phone with a Hyatt representative who gave me the email address where I can mail the qualification documentation for this Hyatt Diamond status match program. However, she told me that the stays need to be completed by June 30th. I was under the impression that I would have 60 days to complete the stays once enrolled in the program, prior to June 30th. Since I have a stay scheduled from July 2-5 I decided to wait until May 6/7 to begin the challenge. Will this stay qualify?

Perhaps Peter or Nick can weigh in on this.

Judging by some of the previous posts, the information you were given seems incorrect. You could always PM GP Concierge and confirm versus waiting for them to review this thread. They usually respond pretty quickly. Good luck. ^

I would endorse this strategy - while GP Concierge staff is a lot more active than previously, they may still overlook specific questions such as this.

As to me, my opinion is that you could probably wait a couple of days to do it - although 60 days from today is July 2 - but I believe that the timing starts when the challenge is approved.

Thank you, Kenbo and Peter... I did get a PM from GP Concierge, who confirmed that I will have 60 days from registering for the challenge (by June 30th) to complete my 12 nights.

Elite matching scheme with Hyatt GP ?

Is anyone aware of Elite level matching scheme with Hyatt GP ? Or a quick elite challenge scheme ?

I have HH Dmnd & PC Plat status. I would like to spread my wings and gather some points in Hyatt too, but would love to start with a soft landing in Hyatt with an Elite status. I do stay 2-3 nights in a hotel every week.

Hi Ramsap,
Please contact Hyatt Gold Passport:http://www.hyatt.com/hyatt/customer-...contact_us.jsp

They do not offer a status match anymore, however, you can get a quick elite challenge scheme. As far I remember, it is 12 night in 60 days which is pretty good considering you obtain Diamond Membership privileges which is including 4 Suites Upgrade Certificate

I am currently doing the Diamond challenge and the stay requirements you mentioned are correct. It's worth noting that you must register for and begin the challenge by June 30th.

You are talking about a challenge for getting Diamond for the first time , right?
Or are you talking about a challenge to RE-NEW Diamond Status?
