Which Dubai Hyatt ??

Hi I am using 2 BW nights in Dubia and as a new diamond member I was wondering which Hyatt hotel I should choose.
Which has the best lounge / services etc. I am not really into sightseeing just want a couple of days chilling on route to South East Asia.

Many thanks

PH Dubai

I've only been to the GH - nice club - big resort type property. The PH doesn't have a club lounge - a bit quieter.

Oasis of tranquility plus probably the best breakfast chain-wide: PH

Late 1990's resort like oppulence: GH

Early Hyatt Global Expansion prototype, recently renovated: HR

What month are you going?
For me the decision maker was the INDOOR pool at the GH, because I am going in August.
The PH is nice, but service at the GH seems more proactive to me. I stayed at both in FEB on FFN and the GH went out of its way to offer the free airport transfers on AWARD stays!!!!

I have only been to the PH. It is quite nice. No lounge, though. But I did not miss it. Service was great. The Grand Hyatt is in a more central location (it's about 20 minutes from the PH), but the PH was an exceptionally relaxing environment.

PH is definately the nicer hotel and location, but no lounge.

Great lounge and pool (in and out) at GH.

We did not know about the free airport transfers, lucked out by seeing the Hyatt booth at DXB & inquiring about transportation.

Of course a PH generally beats a GH, but in your circumstance (spending most of your time at the hotel) I would probably choose the GH. The Grand Club is one reason, but also the restaurants and bars provide more variety at the Grand. The main benefit of the Park is the serenity -- the pool area is pretty, and many (or maybe all) of the rooms have nice balconies on which you can sit and enjoy the sunset over Dubai Creek.

These are really two very solid hotels. Locations are equivalent -- both fairly close to the airport and not far from one another.

I've stayed in both GH and PH. If I *have* to return to Dubai, I'd stay again at the latter, but not the former.

If you care about interior design at all, PH is the one. The rooms are beautifully designed - very sophisticated. Public spaces are nice too - the Thai restaurant very good, spa wonderful.

I have tried all 3 of the hyatt's and meanwhile prefer to stay at the Grand, but visit the PH for the outside bar or the thai restaurant.

PH:
+ very nice interior design
+ good thai restaurant
+ nice outdoor bar
+ rooms have balcony
- the most stupid bathroom ever
- only "private" taxis available
GH:
+ Club Lounge
+ convenient location to wafi mall, mall of emirates and dubai mall
+ usually lots of cabs available
- big hotel, sometimes very busy (but no problem at club floor)

Have to disagree,
the bathrooms in the PH are just beautiful!

The area of the GH maybe convinient but you either look at the motorway or at construction, compared to the Creek or the yacht harbour at the PH.

Enjoy the breakfast buffet at the Park, buy some bakery delights for lunch ( free, if you order a drink at the lobby bar ) and enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants at the Park. Email the property for their menus and often very good offers.

Appetizer selection at the Grand is good, but boring after two days and breakfast at the Club is more or less the same.

While the Grand is a true Grand Hyatt, the rooms at the Park are outstanding.
