Requesting Quotes for Long-Term Stays
I filled out the online form to request a quote for a 60 night stay at the Hyatt Summerfield Dallas Uptown, but I haven't received a response yet. I tried searching the forum but I was wondering what the normal turn around time for those requests is. Also the form seemed to be broken, because it takes me to a blank link everytime I hit submit.
Also what type of discount if any do you normally get with longer stays? I'm also about to request comped status to hyatt diamond, so is this something they can do over the phone, or do you always have to request a quote online. Thanks. |

Two weeks worth of stays and you will be Diamond. |
I was thinking it would be better to do a status match before the stay because then I would get the 30% bonus for the stay.
Or are there more benefits for gaining diamond through the promotion challenge? If they don't respond to my online request, is there an easy way to get the reservation manager or the general manager's e-mail? I would think they would offer a cheaper monthly rate, but it's odd that nobody has really posted about it even though there's an online form for requesting quotes. This makes me worried that the online form doesn't really do anything. |
Summerfield Suites are nothing special which typically carries over to the staff. So I wouldn't put a lot of faith in that online form. I'd call them directly and ask for the GM, tell them why you're calling, and you will probably get the GM if you call during the day M-F.

spgplat21,
Upon browsing this thread, I thought I might offer some advice. In order to get a quick, yet accurate quote for an extended stay at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites Dallas Uptown please call their Sales Department at (214) 661-8702. Furthermore, in my opinion, you are correct in stating that a tier match to Diamond might benefit you more for your upcoming stay. To take the tier matching route, please fax a current statement to 402-593-9449, reflecting either 10 stays or 30 nights (within the last 12 months) at a similar hotel chain. However, whichever way you choose to obtain Diamond status, I am sure that the hotel will do its best to ensure your stay is a good one. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I do hope that you enjoy your upcoming stays at Hyatt! Best regards, Karen Smith |
Out of curiosity, has anyone done a ~30 day stay at a Summerfield or similar property? Curious how much the typical discount is.
