SanDiego1K, I want to believe you, and you've been accurate in everything you've ever said here, so I wonder if we're on slightly different wavelengths. This and the SELECT2500 I was referencing here @29 appear to be mutually exclusive. I see in the SELECT2500 t&c,
"...and choose points for their stay."
And for this one, it says in the t&c,
"...choose miles for your stay..."
"...and choose points for their stay."
And for this one, it says in the t&c,
"...choose miles for your stay..."

Here is a copy of a HP stay for me. You can see I got lots of miles plus 2500 GP points (which were retro b/c I called Hyatt to sign up for that 10K, 4 stay promo) plus 500 GP for Diamond amenity. I have to doublecheck this stuff right after my stays, otherwise waiting & trying to do it later admittedly gets me totally confused. Miles have posted to UA.

Stay 255 points
Bonus 2500 points
After the conversion, it was:
Stay 500 miles
Bonus 2500 points
Bonus 2000 miles
Bonus 2500 miles (every 2nd stay)
In the first example, I got 2755 points. When I converted the stay to miles, I got 2500 points plus 5000 miles. (It would alternate, 2500 miles for the 1st stay, 5000 miles for the 2nd, etc.) This conversion would not work with a Gx bonus, as the Gx bonus posts with the stay points. Thus, when it was converted, the Gx bonus would be lost. In Steph58's example, he or she also got the diamond amenity points, thus 500 additional points. My example does not show that because it is from my husband's account, and he is not diamond.

Whew. I'm just incredulous that the penny keeps falling further and further our way. Now just trying to understand how, when and where to thread the needle. That and an obviously thick skull, here.

Has anyone seen the 2000 mile bonus post to their mileage plus account? It shows up on the gold passport account, but the only miles I'm seeing moved over are the 500 base and 2500 every 2 stay bonus.

I've had a funny glitch or benefit, not sure which, yet. BTW, this was at a FS Hyatt. I requested USAir miles for a stay back in early November in order to make a "hit" for the USAir Grand Slam promotion (4,000 mi. for four USAir partner "hits"). Good news: When I recently signed up for this promotion, shortly thereafter "Bonus 2,000 miles" showed up in my Gold Passport account, in addition to the 500 original ones, associated with that stay. Bad news: I have no idea where the 2,000 went. Not in my UA account, and not in my US account...
I know... patience... but if the 2,000 ultimately show up in my UA account, it may be further good news that a glitch allows us to earn miles in two accounts, if that's what we want (say, the 500 to keep open another airline account), in addition to the GP points. As I said above: Whew! I'll report if there's more. Actually, it'll also be news if the 2,000 go into a black hole.

Same thing happened to me. Only one 2000 point bonus posted to UA. I have more stays in my GP account with the 500 points, the 2500 bonuses, and the 2000 point bonus but only the 500 point and 2500 bonuses posted

Haven't received any bonuses at all (not on UA account either). Followed SD1K's advice and have emailed Hyatt inquiring about them and when they might be posted.
