Does the 1000 point per stay aspect of the current bonus journey show up along when your stay posts to your world of hyatt account or does it come through the credit card statement?

It's posted with the stay, not tied to the credit card statement/points.

what is this 1000 points? Is this on top of the 2022 per two days?

Yes. For WOH card holders staying in specific cities.

I just stayed in the Kissel which is a new hotel and the points didn't post. I'll follow up with customer service.

I've had multiple issues with new hotels and earning points.

The Grand in Melbourne has this for the rate:

Deposit Policy
Credit Card Deposit Required 1 NIGHT(S) DEPOSIT WILL BE CHARGED TO CREDIT CARD

Cancellation Policy
3 Day Prior/One Night Non-Refundable Deposit/Balance Due 3 Days Prr
Certainly the cancellation policy reads to me as though you're on the hook for the pre-paid first.

I read as cancellation is allowed prior to 72 hours and the deposit would be refunded.

I don't know why some hotels put deposit information under the cancellation heading, like here. It could be written so much clearer. Like the abbreviations. I assume that's got something to do with the code in the backend but even so, spell it out, clearly.
