The credit only applies to food & bev, tips can not be paid by the credit.

Do you think it was specific to that property, or is it a broader promo by Hyatt?
I stayed here last year and was offered the same. It's a promo specific to this property.

I see there's another 48 hour sale happening on selected hotels (most likely only US & maybe Canada).

Ends midnight January 18th 2012.

Thanks! I just spotted them whilst browsing the special offers for New York and Ohio properties on Hyatt.com, didn't realise their were codes or dedicated pages.

Just noticed that the stay period doesn't start until Feb. Maybe that's why?

I shouldn't have bothered even looking. The discounted rate for one HP I saw was actually still HIGHER than the rack rate.

Hyatt's "discounts" rarely are. Want that $150 stay credit? Your rate will be a lot higher than $150 more to get it. Free breakfast? The rate without it is so much cheaper you could eat out anywhere and save.

You think we don't notice those things, Hyatt? It makes you look deceptive.

The current Hyatt promos with the 10% off are these. Note that while most don't appear to off much off other rates, however the "discount" rates come with breakfast (AAA rate) or $25 towards food (AARP and Costco rates).

www.hyatt.com/aaa

www.hyatt.com/aarp

www.hyatt.com/costco

all run thru Feb. 29

the current discounts for Costco, AARP and AAA all expire Feb. 29, which would seem to hint some sort of replacement would need to be forthcoming
