Can we please not remove promos until they are over > 1 month, to allow people chasing points etc easy access.

I checked out on Apr 26th. The WoH activity page shows the miles for AA but it's not showing up in my AA account yet. I can confirm that the accounts are linked because I got Hyatt points when I fly AA.
I have as well. They posted a couple days after checking out.

New WOH Chase promo; got an email and activated. (On Chase site not WOH). Up to 8 bonus points per $1 Hyatt spend or 5 per $1 gas/travel spend. $1500 cap. Valid May 15 - Aug 15.

Assuming only Hyatt Spend maximum earn is 12000 points for this promotion on top of existing earnings and promos (I believe). But I am somewhat confused as to the stacking nature due to this inclusion: Total Bonus Points shown are the maximum you will earn on those purchases during the promotion, regardless of what you already earn on those purchases in your rewards program.

Full Terms:
To be eligible for this bonus offer, you must activate by 08/15/21 11:59 p.m. E.T. You will earn 8 Bonus Points total for each $1 spent at Hyatt hotels and resorts (including at participating restaurants and participating locations that are owned, managed, franchised or licensed by Hyatt Corporation or its subsidiaries or affiliates) at participating SLH properties, and on Lindblad Expedition experiences purchased directly through the World of Hyatt program and 5 Bonus Points total for each $1 spent in the travel and gas station categories on up to $1,500 in total combined purchases from 05/15/21 to 08/15/21. Total Bonus Points shown are the maximum you will earn on those purchases during the promotion, regardless of what you already earn on those purchases in your rewards program. For more information about Chase rewards categories, see chase.com/RewardsCategoryFAQs. Purchases posted to your account with a transaction date during the offer period are eligible for this offer. Delays by the merchant, such as shipping, could extend the transaction date beyond the offer period. Please allow up to 8 weeks after qualifying purchases post to your account for Bonus Points to post to your account. (“Purchases” do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.) To qualify for this bonus offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. This bonus offer is non-transferable. Eligible credit cards: World of Hyatt Credit Card. See your Rewards Program Agreement for more details.

Thanks for the heads up!

Haven’t gotten this. I seem to have not been targeted for Hyatt stuff recently (e.g., didn’t get the Hyatt offer of spend $300 get $60 statement credit on any of my Amex cards)

I happened to have 3 Chase CC (Hyatt, Marriott legacy, and IHG legacy) and all of them got the same offer in points. Clearly, Hyatt points are more valuable and I should have no problems with putting $1.5K of Hyatt hotel spending on the card before 08/15/21 - I have 10 nights before 07/15 booked already.

I read this as a total of 8 points per Hyatt dollar, and not as an extra 8 points on top of what the CC already earns. Happy to be wrong here. Can anyone confirm?

I am at a Hyatt right now and will be checking out soon; will let you know what the earnings end up being officially. I am a bit confused as to how it adds up with the WOH status earnings in addition to CC since I am a Globalist and have that additional bonus; 6.5 x $1 at Hyatt as a Globalist plus usual 4 for WOH CC = 11.5 x $1 at Hyatt (normally); unless the 4 turns into 8 so 6.5 + 8 = 14.5 x $1 at Hyatt? Unless it is officially capped at 8 per $1 so it would be less than the normal 11.5? I wrote my concerns above when this came out as I was confused about the language in the offering seemingly capping it at 8 irregardless of other offers or earnings. I will find out tomorrow. If its less than the 11.5 normally I would be a bit upset.

It’s 6.5+8 until you hit the bonus points $ limit when it then goes back to 6.5+4.

It’s usually that Hyatt ends their Spring promo at the end of May then rolls out a new one in mid June. So with this one ending mid-June the assumption is that a new one will roll out right when this one ends.

Has anyone gotten the free "Office for the Day Promotional Award" in connection with a WFH stay and used it? I just got mine a few days after a completed stay.

It seems brand new - there are some interesting "quirks" with it...

Promo terms: Hyatt – Work from Hyatt Special Offer

You must be a member of World of Hyatt to participate in this promotion. To join World of Hyatt, visit worldofhyatt.com. For every Work from Hyatt extended stay reservation of five (5) nights or more completed at a participating Hyatt hotel or resort between May 1, 2021 and June 30, 2021 (“Promotion Period”) members will receive one (1) Office for the Day Promotional Award. Consecutive nights at the same hotel count as one stay regardless of whether guest checks out or not. Office for the Day Promotional Award must be used by September 12, 2021. Use subject to availability. No credit or refund for unused portion.

Office for the Day Promotional Award must be redeemed in connection with a reservation with a checkout date before September 12, 2021. Award is valid for one (1) Office for the Day use at a participating Hyatt hotel or resort. Not valid at Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Miraval, or Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties, M life Rewards destinations, or Lindblad expeditions. Office for the Day award applies only to available standard rooms as defined by each hotel or resort. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 800.544.9288 or a Hyatt Global Contact Center. Award cannot be redeemed for packages. Office for the Day Award may be applied only to the guest room and does not apply toward food, beverage, incidental expenses, service charges, or hotel specific charges.

You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check-in for each stay. Please allow two to three weeks after your qualifying stay for Office for the Day Promotional Award to be posted to your World of Hyatt account. Promotion may not be valid with other offers, promotions or discounts and is non-transferable. Hyatt reserves the right to alter or withdraw this promotion with a suitable substitute promotion of equal value (if legally required) at any time due to actual circumstances. This promotion is subject to the terms and conditions of the World of Hyatt program available at worldofhyatt.com/terms. Hyatt®, World of Hyatt®, and related marks are trademarks of Hyatt Corporation or its affiliates. © 2021 Hyatt Corporation. All rights reserved.

It is behaving like a free Category 1-7 award at many properties irregardless of if that property is even offering the OFFICE aka Office For the Day rate.

If I booked at a property with the certificate and they didn't offer the OFFICE rate wouldn't Hyatt just compensate the property for a full night rate much like an award redemption for the certificate? Understand this is supposed to be only for the OFFICE rate but would be nice to use this at a property for a full night than an office. It counts as a qualifying night when you redeem it.

If the system is letting me book it; I am going to run with it for now but still going to reach out to Hyatt before I stay to see if they'll honor it at non OFFICE participating properties. I am going to book it within the T&C and not do a SLH and keep it at a Standard Room; but the terms say nothing about a hotel where the OFFICE rate isn't offered or anything about category.

==================
Hypothetical Land:

If this is indeed the case I would argue this is one of the best Hyatt promotions stacked with the Bonus Journeys promo and Chase 8x Bonus Points promo:

Example - (Maximum Stacking Hypothetically) - Stay 10 nights with Bonus Journeys and get a Free Night Certificate. Hypothetically the spend for both stays is $1500 as that is the max of the Chase Promo. During the promotional period do 2x WFH stays at properties where the minimum stay requirement is 5 days. You would then get the Free Night Certificate from Bonus Journeys + up to 2,500 points for every 2 nights which would total 12500 Bonus Points in addition to the 2 Office for the Day Promotional Awards. Then you would also get 12000 bonus points from Chase. That would be 3 free nights + 12,500 bonus points (Bonus Journeys) + 12,000 (Chase) + your base earnings (assuming entry level WOH member for $1500 spend) is 7,500.

3 Free Night Awards
Earnings between: 32,000 Bonus Points (Base WOH member) - 34,250 (Globalist WOH member)
10 nights with hypothetical $1500 spend...

Assuming Hyatt allows the Free Office for the Day Promotional Award to be used as a free night at non OFFICE rate properties; this would be an insane return on value. Assume max 34,250 at 2 cents a point, and assume each Free Night is redeemed at a category 4 of 15,000 points per night at 2 cents a point; 34250 + (15,000 * 3) = 79250 points @ 2 cents = $1585 is a return of over 100%

This is one of those situations where you should not reach out to Hyatt and ask them about it. Book it, hope it works, keep it low key.
